Grand Diwali Celebration

Mark your calendar for October 23, 2010 if you are ready for a rocking show with the prodigious playback singer and rising star Anwesha organized by Dreamz India. Anwesha is a rare singing talent that mesmerized the audience and the judges in the recently concluded musical reality show, Music Ka Maha Muqqabla in India. She won the singer of the series award among 30 singers participating in the show including big names like Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, Himesh Reshammiya etc. She is also the runner up of STAR Voice of India Chhote Ustad, 2008. At the age of sixteen she has already rendered songs composed by Pritam and Jatin Pandit. Anwesha will be performing in the Diwali concert along with co-singers and bollywood musicians combined with dance performed by Nadanta dancers (choreographed by eminent choregrapher of Detroit, Chaula Thacker).

Anwesha along with reality show singers (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finalist Bandita, Sony Warr Pariwar singer Trijoy),bollywood musicians (Tarun Chakraborty on Dholok, Bapi Mukherjee on octopad,  Bikash Sinha Roy on Guitar, Goutam Das on Keyboard, Gopen Dey Sarkar drum, Debi Prasanna Das on tabla and Prithwish Ray on bass guitar) and Nadanta dancers will perform semi-classical, pop, folk songs in Hindi. The master of the ceremony for this event will be the famous musical personality of Detroit, Mr. Narendra Sheth. It will be a musical concert of the highest quality and prominence.
